This class will teach you how to incorporate mixed media with your encaustic paints to create imaginative and compelling botanical art.
~This is an INTERMEDIATE LEVEL class~
Students are required to have basic encaustic skills, experience using a torch and previous experience with my Shellac Burn techniques.

Wild Bloom Zoom
In this live Zoom class I will guide you through my own creative process and introduce you to new techniques that will allow you to create your own dynamic, exciting and wild botanical paintings using encaustic and mixed media.
Prerequisite: Encaustic Basics & Shellac Burn

Your live Zoom class runs from 11am to 4pm Pacific Time
A special access link will be emailed to you 24hrs before your class begins.
SESSION 1:
Duration: 90min
Time: 11am - 12:30
Outline: Introduction, materials overview, establishing composition, creating a color base, live painting demonstrations and Interactive student Q&A session.
12:30 - 1pm Break
SESSION 2:
Duration: 90min
Time:1pm - 2:30pm
Outline: Working in layers, special effect techniques, making corrections and edits, live painting demonstrations, interactive student Q&A session.
2:30 - 3pm Break
SESSION 3:
Duration: 60min
Time: 3pm - 4pm
Outline: Painting demonstrations, mistakes to avoid, finishing techniques, class recap, interactive student Q&A session.

CANCELLATION & LIABILITY POLICIES
*Your class tuition is refundable up to 24 hours before your scheduled Zoom class begins.
(There is a $12 processing fee for all refunded classes)
24 hours notice required for cancellation and refund.
No shows are non-refundable and non transferable but you will have 60 days after the class to access the recorded sessions.
If your class is canceled you will receive a 100% refund including the $12 admin fee.
