Meet Your instructor:
Alicia Tormey
Alicia Tormey is an internationally recognized encaustic artist based out of Seattle. She is best known for her organic imagery and inventive painting techniques. Alicia's work has been featured on the cover of Professional Artist Magazine and in numerous other publications including Encaustic Arts Magazine. She has been
working with this medium for over 20 years and enjoys teaching and sharing her painting methods with students from all over the world .
In this 5-Day Immersive Workshop we'll cover topics such as:

Marketing your encaustic art
All workshop materials and supplies will be provided for you. This also includes your panels, tools, equipment, and encaustic paints for the week.
Light Snacks and beverages will be provided during normal workshop hours.
There will be an optional Meet & Greet from 5:30pm - 7:00pm in Alicia's studio the night before your 5-day workshop so we can all get acquainted with one another. There will also be a celebratory champagne toast and group critique on the last day.
Students are responsible for:
Airfare, lodging, ground transportation, and all meals and activities outside of the workshop venue. (We'll send you our lodging and restaurant recommendations once you register)
