and unleash your creativity in this exciting live workshop focused on making beautiful, organic botanical paintings.
You are invited to my private studio where you'll discover how to incorporate mixed media with encaustic paints to create imaginative and compelling floral paintings.
I will guide you through my own techniques and creative process and introduce you to new painting methods that will elevate your artwork and allow you to create dynamic, exciting and wild botanical forms in encaustic and mixed media.

These creative workshops take place in my home and private studio space that is nestled in the foothills of the Northern Rockies. World renowned Sun Valley resort is less than 30 minutes away and offers shopping, dining and resort amenities.
Come see my private Idaho and be surrounded by a majestic mountain landscape as we create in the studio. In the evenings... we'll break bread together and share stories as we forge new friendships and explore creative ideas.

Students check in at the Lodge after 4pm. We'll greet you on arrival and help you get settled in before we gather for a little bubbly followed by a group dinner.

Alicia Tormey
Hello my creative friend. I am thrilled and honored to open up my home and art studio to you for an intimate and creative retreat experience.
I have been a professional artist for well over three decades and I am excited to share my knowledge and encaustic techniques with you in such a personal setting. I look forward to creating some magic together.

REGISTRATION
Tuition for this retreat ranges from
$4550 to $4986
(depending on your room preferences)
Includes: Meals, lodging, workshops, art materials and limited ground transportation.
A deposit of $1200 is required at registration
A deposit of $1200 is due at registration and will be applied to your total tuition.
50% of your deposit ($600) is
NON-REFUNDBLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE.
NOTE: We will do our best to accommodate your room preferences but can not guarantee availability. Private rooms with private baths are limited and will be booked on a first come basis.

Cancellation Policy & Terms Of Agreement
Thank you for your interest in attending this Artist Retreat hosted by Alicia Tormey Studio, LLC. Please read the Registration & Cancellation Policy carefully.
Partially Refundable Deposit:
Your deposit of $1200 is due at time of registration to secure your spot if a space is available. 50% of your initial $1200 deposit is refundable and 50% is non-refundable and non-transferable. In the event of a cancellation, the refundable portion of your deposit, $600, will be issued back to you via the same payment method used to submit your deposit.
Tuition Balance
Your tuition is paid in installments beginning with your initial deposit of $1200 followed by two equal payments of your balance due. Please refer to the Payments Due and Payment Schedule on your registration form at checkout.
Student Cancellations:
Cancelations must be made within 60 days prior to your retreat start date to be eligible for a refund, less the $600 non refundable portion of your deposit. No refunds will be issued for cancelations made after the 60 day deadline. Cancellations must be submitted via email to art@aliciatormey.com before the 60 day deadline to be eligible for a partial refund.
Late Cancelations: Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the start date of your retreat are not refundable.
NO-SHOWS are 100% NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE.
If your workshop is cancelled by Alicia Tormey Studios LLC for any reason, you will receive a 100% refund of all tuition payments you have paid to date, including any non-refundable portions. Alicia Tormey Studios, LLC is not liable for any additional expenses incurred, including, but not limited to; airfare, transportation and accommodations, if your retreat is cancelled for any reason.
Failure to pay your tuition fees by the dates specified may result in a forfeiture of your enrollment and refund eligibility.
Upon submitting payment, you hold Alicia Tormey Studios, LLC. free from any liability in the event of loss or accidental injury.
