Class Description / Registration Info
This class is designed to give you the tools and guidance you need to understand the basic principles of painting with encaustic and start creating your own beautiful works of art using this enchanting wax-based medium. The course is conducted live via Zoom with student interaction and will be presented in three consecutive sessions. See the course out line below.

Outline: Introduction, safety, studio setup, tools and materials overview ,working with a torch, priming your panel, getting a smooth surface. Interactive student Q&A session.
SESSION 2:

Outline: Color palette setup, making your own paint colors, working with opacity and translucency, creating texture, mark making techniques, interactive student Q&A session.
SESSION 3:
